Before
Nate’s office just had some minor cosmetic issues to deal with when we moved in. Nate was all business about getting his room done. He easily won the “first completed space” award especially since I am still working on my office two years later.
Probably the weirdest element in the room, was the vent to the wood burning stove. We decided to just remove it and leave the space in the block wall open.
In Progress
The french doors to the living room had rice paper glued to the glass. Nate’s mom helped scrape AND scrape the paper off until the doors were all clean.
Nate bought some new furniture from IKEA to complete the space. My dad helped him put it together.
After
The office walls were painted a bright blue that works nicely with the birch furniture.
On the walls he hung different concert posters he’s collected. The Daft Punk poster is a favorite.
