Before
We have a giant room in the back of the house we call the Great Room. Originally, it looked like a gym with a pull-up bar, linoleum and track lighting. We later found out the previous owner has a giant loom installed in here, but that’s a different story.
In Progress
We removed the wood stove and decided to paint the walls a deep purple.
Then, we purchased our first new piece of furniture.
After
Our couch and TV occupy one half of the room.
Then the other half has become another dining area with my Grandma Shirley’s renovated dining table in the back.
Then we found bubbles in our ceiling.
So we ripped it out along with a bunch of wet insulation. (Read about it here and here.)
We are hoping to replace our roof this Spring and fix the issue. Until then, we are living with an open ceiling.
