Feline Friday: Sentry duty

Sentry Duty

I talked about Pixel’s managerial role last week so I felt I should give you some insight to Loki’s “job” around the house.

He spends many evenings sitting in perfect formation on our dining table watching for trouble in the backyard. We call him the sentry for his perfect form and his serious expression while on duty.

Feline Friday: The Manager

Hard to see in this photo, but Pixel is sitting in the missing block watching Nate paint.

I tried to get a shot from the other side, but Pixel hates having her photo taken. Luckily, she really likes home improvement projects especially painting. She’s always close-by keeping tabs on us, so we call her the Manager.

Feline Friday: Dealing

Feline Friday: Loki dealing with

I was surprised how well Loki dealt with the roof construction. We only had to give him the anxiety meds three times during the whole process.

I found he often hid in my closet when the “men with boots” came to the house. So I set up a basket for him in the closet and he went there everyday to sleep until all the men left. Then he would emerge hesitantly (see above) until he was sure the place was safe. Once he was cool and settled, he was fine until the whole scenario replayed the next morning.
