Welcome to our blog!!
I’m Andrea. I work as a designer and project manager by day. I love creating new and beautiful things – the newest venture being our concrete house.
Growing up with weekend warrior parents, I have always dreamed of buying a house that I could put my own spin on. Now that the dream has come true, I wanted to make sure and record the process step by step with this blog.
I am bringing my lovely boyfriend, Nate, along for the ride. Nate’s new to the do-it-yourself world, but so far having a great time (especially with all the demo!) We are both really excited to make this house our home.
We adopted two kittens, Pixel and Loki, the summer after we bought our home. Anyone who has read a bit of this blog knows how important they are to us. They have made the transition from house to home so fun.
The winter of 2010, we were fortunate enough to receive a bath makeover by DIY’s Bath Crashers. It was a once in a lifetime experience. (Read all about it and the finished project.) The episode is not available yet on their site, but we will post it once it is!
If we are not watching HGTV or football, we are probably throwing a BBQ in our backyard.
